With over 15 years of expertise in sales, business, and the coffee industry, her frequent visits to the Dominican Republic connect her to her roots, filled with memories of roosters at dawn, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and the lush Cibao region.

    Inspired by her 95-year-old grandmother, Flor, a pioneering female entrepreneur from a Dominican coffee farm, Rocio infuses her work with family and tradition. With her Cuban husband, Marcell, and their daughter, she sources single origin, organic, 100% Arabica coffee from Cibao’s skilled farmers. Professionally, Rocio is committed to providing the highest quality, healthy coffee and honey while blending her love for the Dominican Republic and Cuba into Moca Coffee Co.’s essence.

    As a Dominican raised in New York, Rocio’s vision transcends borders, connecting communities through authentic products and initiatives like the nonprofit Educate to Lead, fostering equity empower the younger generation. Moca Coffee Co. is a celebration of unity, heritage, quality, and family.
